The Acadia cabinet is both intricate and raw; a stunning material created in Alexander’s studio, ‘Embers Straw’ is made with layers of straw marquetry in subtle dyed tones that are pressed and abraded to reveal deep layers and cross-currents of reflective light. Grey Ash brings a muted counterpoint and a golden bamboo interior completes the delicately crafted materials. Knife hinges and rod lock in patinated brass with custom cast feet and key.
