During the 1920?s, ivory was used on luxurious furniture. Sliced thinly, it would gradually crack in beautiful ways. We have followed exactly these lines and cracks to create large scale gesso panels that we feel are the closest surface to real ivory it is possible to achieve. With our?Ivoire?, everything is created by the hand of the skilled gesso maker.
