The gourd form is a beautiful canvas for this concept of fluid bangles and rings encircling its curves. Taking its name from the circular stones found at English archaeological sites, Quoit uses materials and surfaces that become more and more interesting as you get closer and look into the craquelure, gilding and mother-of-pearl lines as if searching for the history that lies beneath.
